Placing an order
We request information from you during our online ordering process. Here you need to provide contact information (like name and address) and financial information (like credit card number and expiry date). This information is used for billing purposes and to fulfil delivery. We also use the information to enable us to contact you when required in connection with your orders. As a protection against fraudulent bookings, we also record the IP address from which each booking is made.
Cookies
A cookie is a piece of data stored by your web browser containing data sent by a web server. The RogueFramer website site uses a single cookie containing only a random session ID in order that consecutive requests from a single user can be associated with each other. This is necessary so that user preferences are correctly remembered. If you reject the cookie, most aspects of the site (including the booking process) will still function, though occasional difficulty may be encountered. Cookies also enable us to perform analysis on the way our site is used. This helps us to improve the operation of our site.
Log Files
We use IP addresses to analyse trends, administer the site, track usage and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.
Links
From time to time, this web site may contain links to other sites. Please be aware that RogueFramer is not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage you to be aware of this when you leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every web site that collects personally identifiable information. This privacy statement applies solely to information collected by RogueFramer.
Newsletter
If you subscribe to our e-mail newsletter, we ask for contact information - your name and e-mail address at minimum, with the option to provide additional information.
Security
We take every precaution to protect all information collected. Sensitive information you submit via the website is both communicated to us and stored in a secure manner. All personal information communicated to us as part of a booking is submitted over a secure channel, protected using SSL or TLS encryption with 128-bit key length (the strongest supported by modern browsers). You can confirm this by looking for the "secure site" indicator on your web browser, which typically appears as a padlock or key. For information held on file, access is restricted to only those staff that require that information to perform a specific job. All employees are kept up-to-date on our security and privacy practices. If you have any questions about the security at our website, you can e-mail us here.
Communications relating to orders
We communicate with customers in relation to their orders. This communication may be by e-mail, conventional post, telephone, fax or other suitable medium. This communication is essential to the proper service of bookings and orders and must therefore take place regardless of the customer's consent to other (non-booking-related) communication.
Correction/Updating Personal Information
In the event of a change to personally identifiable information (such as postal address), our staff can make such a change on a user's behalf, subject to identity checks.
Consent
Except where an actual booking or other business transaction is concerned, we communicate with you only where consent is given. We track consent to e-mail and conventional post communication and you may review or revoke this consent at any time. Every edition of a newsletter also offers a quick unsubscribe link.
Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will note this on our Homepage so you are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. If at any point we decide to use personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time it was collected, we will notify you by e-mail. You will have a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this different manner.
